This book was written by my sister, a woman who faced the unimaginable
in her life and introduced me to the world of personal development. She taught
me the importance of not only working on our physical well-being but also
nurturing our minds and souls. My sister is the most resilient person I know;
many would have crumbled under the weight of the tragedy that befell her.

On April 6, 2016, my sister, Julia, went to pick up her three children from the
rental home of her ex-husband, Mario Deus, where he had been taking care of
them over the Easter holidays. Despite the challenges of recent years, Julia
held hope that finalizing her divorce would lead to a better and more stable
relationship with Mario for the sake of their children. 

However, nothing could have prepared her for the horrific events of
that day. When Julia arrived at the house, Mario told her to pick up a knife
because he intended to kill her. In utter shock, she asked what was happening,
and he revealed the unimaginable: the twins were dead. In that heart-wrenching
moment, Julia's world shattered, and she rushed to the bedroom, believing her
children were asleep, only to find their lifeless bodies. 

This is the story of her life—before and after—a journey of healing
after unimaginable loss. "Precious Scars" is Julia's inspiring tale
